Steve Austin joined the WWE in 1995, debuting as the Ringmaster. Later changing his name to Steve Austin, and won the 1996 King of the Ring Tournament. Stone Cold defeated Jake Roberts, who was a "Born-Again Christian" and Stone Cold told him, "Austin 3:16 says I just whupped your a**." Later, Austin won the Tag Team Championships twice. Once with Shawn Michaels, once with Dude Love. Later, in a match with Owen Hart, Hart botched a piledriver, leaving Austin with a broken neck. Austin won the match a couple seconds later with a Roll-Up. Austin started helping Hart, as he was going to beat him at Survivor Series. At WM XIV, Austin won the WWF Title, and with it, the Austin and Attitude Era began.
Austin is now working as the host of WWE Tough Enough.
